I am in the process of re-photographing images with a digital camera (rather than the analog video camera used previously) with much improved quality. As these are completed for individual species, species description pages will be converted from html to PDF format and compressed for downloading and printing. This work is just beginning (April, 2003).
In order to open these files, Stuffit expander must be installed on your computer, selecting the operating system in use (Windows, MacIntosh, Linux, Solaris). This program can be downloaded free from http://www.stuffit.com/expander. This expander application has other uses, since it also decompresses files downloaded in other format (Mac's .sit; Windows .zip; etc.). The list of downloadable files will increase as time permits.
