A Poem...
Victor
Galea and Adrian Yallop composed a poem sung by participants in the Guelph,
Canada pre-NACOM workshop at an evening social (can you guess the Christmas
tune?). I could not resist sharing it, since I suspect it mirrors the view of
many who try and practice glomalean taxonomy. Vic and Adrian should keep a close
watch over their shoulders, however, because a wicked spell may be cast their
way one day and they may never look at spores the same way again!
On
the twelfth day of NACOM
Joe Morton gave to me:
Twelve spores of Glomus
Eleven hours of talking
Ten walls invisible
Nine auxiliary cells
Eight doubtful theories
Seven bottles of Melzer's
Six hundred slides
Five. . . . more hours of talking\
Four headless chickens
Three candles burning
Two satanic verses.
And that's the voodoo of the Glomales!
